Midway Chapter SDC's "Dinner & a Movie"

Held in conjunction with the Lake Afton All Wheels Car Show

The Largest FREE Open Car Show in the World

Hello! You are invited to participate with the Midway Chapter SDC at the
Lake Afton All Wheels Car Show featuring Studebaker in Wichita,KS.
However,since the show starts at 11 AM on Sunday morning, and you may have
far to travel- Why not make a weekend of it and drive in Saturday?

We have a motel close to the car show, and have planned a Saturday night
event called "Dinner and a Movie".

We'll all caravan to Pretty Prairie (33 miles) for a great meal in "The
Lumberyard", and then watch some classic movies in the historic Pretty
Prairie Civic Theater. Doesn't that sound like a good time?

We will watch "The Egg & I" with Claudette Colbert & Fred MacMurry, Abbott &
Costello's "Midget Car Maniacs", and the Little Rascals in "He Man Woman
Haters Club". If we have time, we may even watch a bonus cartoon. The price
for the entire evening will be $16 per person.

We'll leave the motel at 4 PM on Saturday, head over to Pretty Prairie for
dinner at 5:30PM-then the movie starts at 7PM. Then its a cool drive back to
the motel.

Our Headquaters Motel is the Express Inn located at 19941 West Kellogg (US
54 & 400) in Goddard Kansas,just west of Wichita, and close to the Lake
Afton All Wheels Car Show.

Please call for reservations : 1-316-794-3366 , Rooms are $42-$55, plus tax.
Single, double beds and double queens are offered. Call by Sunday  May 15th.

To make reservations for our "Dinner and a Movie" event please send $16 for
each attendee to the following address by Sunday,May 15th. Please note which
model of Studebaker you are bringing-we need to reserve spaces at the Car
Show.
