Got a phone call from a fella I meant in South Bend.  Incidently, he bought
a few parts from me.  Called to complain about a part.  During the
conversation, I ask him which part he was talking about and what
specifically was wrong with it?  He says, the fender you sold me don't fit
my truck.  I reply, truck fender, what truck fender?  I didn't sell you a
truck fender!  He says, are you sure?  I says, yes I sold you an NOS left
rear Hawk fender.  I don't wonder that it won't fit your truck!  We got to
talking about things and it turns out he bought a big truck fender for his
1/2 ton by mistake from someone at the fairgrounds.  Of course, I offered to
take it off his hands, as I'm looking for a pair of big truck fenders for my
63 1 ton Crew Cab Diesel pickup.

Some people just have a bad day no matter what happens.

I had a good time and got to see a lot of old friends.  I was even pleased
to see JP.  Lee it was really good seeing you.  Jim Turner, all ways a
pleasure to see you.  Milt, sorry I didn't get a chance to stop in on the
way back, but I just didn't have room for any more stuff.  I had the trailer
and truck loaded to the gills with the the last of the dealership parts I
bought out.

The only other than positive was the tippicanoe not being gimp-friendly.

Hey, sounds like his day was not all bad, he managed to get in touch
with someone who needs the parts he can't use!

I for one had a pretty good time and managed to find some stuff that I
didn't even know I needed :)

Nate,

Sounds like you had a pretty rough day shopping, if you came home with stuff
you didn't know you even needed?

But it was all GOOD STUFF! :)

actually got the MoPar ignition conversion in over the weekend,
although high RPM testing will have to wait for some other engine
upgrades...
