What a glorious day. After weeks of rain Minnesota is being splashed with 80
degree sunshine and low humidity.
Went to the fairgrounds and took in the sights.Had to have been 8,000 pre
'64 cars on site.It was awesome.
Eye candy was everywhere. Sure was a lot to look at. Long
chassis,shorties,droptops and fat fenders.
A lot of the cars looked good too..lol
No pics today but tomorrow there will be 10,000 cars and 3 times as many
people.
All I need is a shady spot, sunglasses and my digital camera.

Bob40...hoping cars dont get in the way of a good pic<G>

Looks like we in Alberta got your rain, Bob.

There is a band of extremely heavy rain following the Eastern slope of
the Rockies, and flood warnings on some of the rivers. This, after 2
weeks of the same.

I've got a little water seeping into my basement; have to go outside
and pump out the rainwater cistern again.

Rained on my parade today. Seems the water pump went out and what I thought
was the heater smell mixed with new carpet turned out to be a overheating
engine.Pulled to the side of the interstate soon as I heard the death
rattle.Temp guage was only halfway so that wasnt accurate.Called a buddy to
bring a trailer...3 hours and several close calls by semi's flying by I
fired it up hoping to make it the last 3 miles to the fairgrounds knowing it
was doubtful. Pretty sure I rattled the rods pretty good since the pan is
leaking where it shouldnt.Taps being played on the ol' 224.

Bob...I break stuff...40
