was poking around some vendor web sites, and there's a note on Jon
Myer's site about possibly having the Halibrands remade if he can get 25
preorders.  Just thought I would pass this on as I know there's a couple
people that always are looking for Halibrands.

How bad do I want cool wheels again?

Why not go to Chip Foose, or (gasp) Boyddd Codddington and have them machine
up a set in aluminum and rough 'em up a bit?
Then you could get the size and offset you really want (like the 21"'ers you
lust for) <g>//

Speaking of cool things Nate....
I looked over your car on my last pass through Maryland last week...
Your car looks real good with those wire wheels on there.
Much better in person than in pic's (no <g> necessary)...

yeah, I'm sorry I missed you... would have been about 100 miles out of
my way tho :(  the wire wheels really do kinda work, but I still am
thinking either kidney beans or Torq-Thrusts.

The nice thing is, I've got a wheel and tire combo that is 7" wide and
DOES NOT RUB amazingly enough...  that I can deal with!  I guess if I
ever decide to go with something different, I can just try to get the
exact same offset as the wires to make sure it fits right.

PS - thanks for reminding me, I need to order one center cap...

PPS - was stuck in traffic last night next to an XJS with those wheels
and tri-bar spinners - that might be a *bit* much...
