I received my new (to me) 289 & Auto Trans tonight via JeffEX. It is now
safely crammed in the garage, because the new Garage Majal, isn't finished
yet. We spent a nice evening just chillin and talking Studes. This kind of
stuff is one of the best things about this group of Studebaker nuts. Buy
parts from anywhere, call out for help, and in no time your stuff is at
your door. I don't know if the brand x guys, have a network like this, but
I'm glad we do.Thanks this time around to Jeff Rice, Stude George and Dave

Enjoy! Pat and Emily!

You won't have to buy a new left manifold for that motor....

If you don't want the carb, someone inquired about it.

I think in future we will have to throw a party or something for Jeffy.
His delivery service is becoming legendary...

It's called York...  other delivery specialists like Lee D. are also
honored as well, traditionally by imbibing frosty malted beverages in
their presence after cleaning out their trailers.  you coming next
year? :)

Naw....
There will come a day when I lose something important, so we'd better not
raise the bar too high <lol>

Glad to help out...
It was on the way, and I snagged a couple of items I needed from
StudeGeorge.
That's how this club is supposed to work!

Indeed. I need to thank Ray Fichthorn for picking up Jim Turner's (now
my) 1964 hood at SASCO last week and delivering it here when Ray was
picking up a car only a few miles from my house. Thanks, Ray! 'Hope you
and Lee enjoyed HogsHead Barbecue in Pittsboro, and got back to Ft.
Wayne and points south safely. BP

southeast I have something that I need brought down...
Don't need door-to-door... I'll chase to your place to pick it up...

Jeff,

I am still on the fence about Asheville this year (some real estate
stuff going on here that I am not sure will be resolved by then).  IF
I can make the trip to the NC meet, I can get it that far.

That would be great...
This would be a Syracuse, In to Asheville run...
Fairly small and not heavy (100 pounds+-)

It's easy to remember when Asheville is, it's always the weekend after
Labor Day.

Well Jim,

If I vend, I'm looking at $350 in fuel to make the round trip....
Gotta sell a LOT of parts to cover the cost of them and the cost of
the trip at those dollars.......

If I just go as a spectator, I am still looking at about $250 in fuel
for the trip plus whatever I spend there.
