So I got the new front end on the car and the engine in the car. Now I
am trying to finish up the wiring. My biggest problem right now is
where to place the two boxes for the power windows. I can't find a
picture anywhere. The parts book shows them up high but I am not
completely sure that is correct. Does anyone have a good picture of
where they go?
Thanks,
Nick
You need a housecall from J. P.

No one has a picture. The more I work on this car the more I wished I
bought a Lark.

You can see the PW stuff in these pix of one of my old Avanti's

Which two boxes are you talking about? The only one I can think of is the
power relay that sits on the fender next to the battery? The other is the
voltage regulator. Frankly its hard to tell, the factory moved them around ,
people that owned their Avanti's moved them around because they didn't like
them there. If you give me a little more information, I'll go out and look
on mine and take a picture and post it on my Webshots.

Early cars had both the relay and circuit breaker under the hood as on
this car.

Heres the shot, yes it looks pretty crudy. Just haven't painted in there

Thanks everyone for the help. I got the relay box mounted today. I
place just forward of the horn relay.
Nick
Unless it's a late '64, the relay looks like it's above the horn relay, in
the poor pictures I have. I don't see the breaker. Are there unused holes
in this area?
Bob Johnstone's site has the service letter about electric windows:

The relay for power windows is in the flat area, toward the front of the
car from the horn relay. I don't see the breaker.
