I know we always can't keep things forever. But don't some things have a
sentimental value.
Its one thing that the people on antique roadshow, go on there with their
antiques and find out there value.
Oh you have a button off of George Washington's coat.
That was given to you by your father. That was passed down by his father. It
was given to your great,great,great,great,great,great,
grandfather by George Washington and with handwrtitten documentation. That
would be almost priceless says the announcer, but the value would be
$10,000. Oh my says the lucky owner, I could never sell it for that, but
then again whats your offer.
.
Well , its his choice to sell, but someone out can have a
car with unique history ,for the right price.

Well Malcolm, I understand where you are coming from but look at the
other side of the coin.
I have a car that much fanfare was made about it in 1959. To the
original owner though, it was the family car and had outlived its use
and was parted out. The Mrs was more sentimental and sold the car to a
guy that promised to restore it for a dollar. That was 5 other owners
before me.
Anyway, I plan on doing it right and then use it then probably give it
to the museam. It will never be original; but if Studebaker had not
made it to this car and beyond in 1959, all the GT Hawks, Avanti's
Champ trucks and everything after 1959 would not have happened. The car
is sad now, but one day I hope to have it happy again.
