Yep....you're right!  Guess I was just excited about it.

Just saw the interview with Ted Harbit and he was his usual humble
self!!  Dang, that guy is my hero...too bad he didn't get a chance to
reveal some of th espeeds/times that little Stude runs, although Dennis
Gage didn't give him much of a chance to mention anything that wasn't a
direct question.

I've got it on TiVo now so I can watch it over and over again. I did
see a Maroon 63 Avanti sitting in line and they showed a white Lark
racing against a red GT Hawk but didn't show any times/speeds from the
boards after the run!  Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

The "maroon Avanti" is Peter Sant's R2 with air conditioning.

The white Lark is John Raab's 1963 Lark Regal 2door,
"mostly R1" with Flightomatic.

The Red Hawk would be Doug Tjapkes' 1963 R2/Powershift Super Hawk.

As far as times go Ted was interviewed on Friday. He ran his fastest
time on Saturday of 13.30@ 102.02 in the shoot-out so he would not have
known his best time. Most of the other interviews were done on Saturday
after the race so he could ask and they would know their best times
then.
The other Studebakers best times at the race are. John Rabb's white
63 Lark 15.825@87.57. He had a bye. Doug Chapkes 63 R2 Hawk
15.049@96.38. He had a bye. Richard Poe 63 R1 Lark 14.73@94.05 I was
paired with Peter Sant's 63 R2 Avanti and I won in three rounds.
Peter Sant 63 R2 Avanti 14.722@95.17. Peter is a good friend and a
great guy to bad we got paired together, we would liked to have raced
brand X cars.
