Hi-   I was just wondering if anyone in the NG had seen this book
before?    Is it worth bidding on?  Or if someone on the NG is bidding
and wins could I get a copy of the Hawk section?

It was formed by a group of GT Hawk owners that wanted $7.00 first
place trophy. <g> Actually, it's a long gone, not very successful group.

Too bad, I bet they would give first place awards!

Nate,

Four GT Hawks entered for judging (out of many present); one
third-place trophy.

Definitely some disappointment on the part of of the owners, but I
honestly don't think the judging was unduly harsh, at least as far as
my own GT went. I think in some instances, authenticity points got
doubled up by being treated as condition points in the other column of
the judging sheet. IMHO, the judging sheet needs improvement, and I
say this as having been on both sides of it in Spokane. OTOH, I think
Carl Thoms did a fine job in his first year as chief judge.
