The last couple days I have been stuck waiting on parts for customers
cars so I have finally got some time to work on my own. With the
temperature inside the shop hovering right at 100 (not a good idea to
leave a thermometer where you can see it all the time)I installed a
brake booster on my Daytona, (power brakes now, yeeha!)flushed the
cooling system and installed a new thermostat on the 38, and got the
Hawk ready for it's conversion to a dual master cylinder tomorrow.
Also took my never issued YOM tag for the Daytona to the DMV and got it
authenticated and transferred. Looked in various FLAPS for a tag
holder so it wouldn't get bent when gassing up and found a nice one at
Pep Boys; the tag fits inside the chrome frame and the frame doesn't
cover up any part of the tag. This tag is also cool 'cause it's the
county number where the car spent the majority of it's life and it is
virtually brand new. Might even have time to get the AC brackets
mounted on the Hawk...if a timing cover (begging to Jeffy) magically
appears....

They are soaking in solvent right now awaiting a thorough cleaning....
I'll try to do a couple this weekend just for you.
