We went junk-yarding with Gord today. Then back to the classic car
dealers and lunch at Frank's diner. I don't think I got a picture of
Frank's diner. Rats!!!!!!!!!
Rained off and on half of the day. We got wet at the junk yard.
Bargains? I don't know. A guy showed up with a pickup truck load and no
swap space. Two or three vendors picked him clean for probably 20 cents
on the dollar.
How about NOS 63 Hawk parking lamp lenses for $200 a pair. You could
probably chisel them down to $100 a piece?!?!?!!?!
Sat in the bar. Craig Parslow, Glenn Martin and Gord were discussing
toilets. You DON'T want to know!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeff - the R2 Coupe Express is here.
Charlie - plenty of Diesels
Nate - Gorgeous 55 Speedster, R2 and 53 front clip. NICE!!!!!

The membership meeting tonight had some Q&A about some items that I had
not heard of before regards theft of SDC funds. I've leave that to
those that know something.
Some great cars so far. There is a awesome '50 woody wagon rod that
was custom made from scratch, amoung others.
My '53 was on TV this morning on the local morning news. Local
reporter was interviewing someone and they were showing off some
trucks. The camera later panned the lot behind the reporter and my car
was visible over his shoulder.
Concourse setup is supposed to start at 6:30 tomorrow so its gonna be a
long day!

Thanks for the photos, I enjoyed them, as well as the other ones on
your site. I even found a '57 Provincial wagon in there with exactly
the same paint as mine.. similar condition too.. well, maybe a little
better. :)
Judging by the photos, the Studebaker community reminds me alot of the
Esperanto speaking community in the US- mostly older, a few younger
enthusiasts, friendly, keen on their somewhat esoteric interest. It
would be awesome if the Studebaker community and the Esperanto
community merged- esperanto speaking studebaker drivers- that would
rule.

Yeah, well it was sort of a crappy conversation I guess. By the way,
Claude, do I know you? *GRIN*
