Washed both trucks this morning (cool outside, if you can call 83 degree's
and 90% humidity 'cool'...)
All set for the cruise later today...
Out to the production facilities for some pre-assembly of shiny stuff
(finned aluminum valve covers and valley cover.
Lot's to do....

Washed the trucks...
What an oxymoron.
Left for the cruise and drove through a toadstrangler.
I looked back and Rick even had his wipers on going full blast.
It was raining so hard I even found a new leak under the dash that soaked my
left foot.
Stopped raining when we arrived and we were parked right next to a
restaurant with a sidewalk cafe table setting under an overhang.
Good thing too...
You could see the storm we drove through steer a course right to our
location.
All the open cars skeedaddled and a lot of plastic sheets came out.
No one was brought in for a few minutes and then all of a sudden, my new
parking partner was escorted in and placed next to me..
A '57 Golden Hawk!
It was a good omen.
Storm sopped everybody and thinned the ranks, but when it ended, the temps
had dropped and it became a very comfortable and enjoyable evening.
They apparently skipped the awards deal and the after show cruise, but we
didn't care.
The drive home was dry...and it was a perfect evening for a slow drive
through the countryside.
Parked everything and called it a night...
Up early to work out in the shop while it's cool out.
