Left Spokane Sunday morning on the way to Yakima to visit family.  I
had a great time at the meet, got to meet a lot of folks from the NG
and saw other folks I'd met at the zone meet in WI last year as well.
Except for the rain wednesday, the weather was great.  The driving tour
sat. was fun, wished there had been more cars in attendance.  My '53
did well on the "hills" on the tour so I was pleased.  I've never
really driven it anywhere it was not pretty straight and flat before.
Since I trailered it from ND, I figured I needed to drive it!

Jeff,
It was great to meet you!  Your '53 is beautiful and well engineered.
You should have years of fun with that one!

Have a safe drive back.

Dick,

Thanks for the compliment.  I think some of the most fun I had all week
was that ride in your car with Gord and Claude whilst we were getting
lost in all the best parts of Spokane looking for the fairgrounds!

I just got home yesterday after 2-1/2 days on the road.  I totalled up
just shy of 2800 miles on the truck.  I decided to take a slight detour
from going back to Spokane from Yakima and headed SE to Lewiston ID and
from there on US12 to Missoula, MT before getting back on I-90.  For
anybody that has never driven through ID in that area, the view along
US12 is awesome.  Over 100 miles of winding 2 lane along a wild river
with forests, cliffs and rocks, etc.  Too bad I was driving my truck
with a trailer behind since it was a chore, a sports car or something
would have been the ticket!

Jeff,
It was great to finally meet you and spend some time gabbing. Best of luck
to you!
