fiberglass '40s Ford vw beetle hood

I know this topic has been addresses before - but I did not see any
response. Does anyone know where I can find one of these hoods? They
were mentioned in a Popular Mechnaics article several years ago and are a
key component in transforming an old beetle into a '40s Ford style woody.

I won't swear to it...but I THINK I've seen those advertised in the VW
section of the JC Whitney catalog in the past. Barring that...check
out a coule of the specialty VW monthly magazines or try a newsgroup
listing search for VW newsgroups. Surely someone there could give you
more information than a buch of Studebaker folks! :)
