Below are links of what my 54 sedan looks like now after much buffing,
and a light wax/polish. The finish was as dull as a army camo paint job
before <G> I had to take emery cloth and wet sand the hood and roof
and trunk lid to bring it back. I know it needs a full paint job, but
for this summer it will do. Intresting thing is that the passengers
side of the car is faded more then the other side.

At a glance, I'd say that the doors on the pass. side have been
repainted, if the picture is accurate.  Often repaints fade differently
than original paint therefore when the paint ages the car will appear to
be different colors even though the paint may have matched well when the
repair was done.

Well done! (the fading is most unusual)
