Looks more like a $1500 dollar car w/o engine.

paint is shot, interior is hammered (what he shows of it), the only
thing that looks like it's in good shape is the owner's manual.

One thing the car has going for it; it is a factory non-package R2 Lark.  The
in-dash tach was a clue that caused me to look up the serial number.  The car
was factory equipped with an R2, 4-speed, drum brakes, buckets, and twin trac.
Without the engine, it is overpriced, as finding a correct and complete R2
engine is like finding gold.....

That changes everything.  If it was near me I would buy it and try to
get the engine he has that he said matches the car.  That should be the
R2 engine.  This would be a project, but no more than my 1963 R1 Wagon
with three on the tree.

Hey JP - don't you have an R2 that's looking for a home?
