One thing the car has going for it; it is a factory non-package R2 Lark. The
in-dash tach was a clue that caused me to look up the serial number. The car
was factory equipped with an R2, 4-speed, drum brakes, buckets, and twin trac.
Without the engine, it is overpriced, as finding a correct and complete R2
engine is like finding gold.....

That changes everything. If it was near me I would buy it and try to
get the engine he has that he said matches the car. That should be the
R2 engine. This would be a project, but no more than my 1963 R1 Wagon
with three on the tree.

Hey JP - don't you have an R2 that's looking for a home?
