I just read the post about R-3 headers clearance problems in a Lark,
what about a Hawk? Are there any issues anyone has had?  KM

I had no clearance problems in my 63 Lark, Hawk should be no problem.

I had R-3 headers in a '60 Hawk and a '64 GT- no problems.

I have heard that they don't fit with Saginaw power steering however.

As was mentioned in the other thread, as long as you have the Ross "SL"
box, you should be fine. I'm not sure when they started using that box,
but I know that it is impossible to use the R3 headers in earlier C/K's
with the Saginaw or smaller Ross box.

How about the Saginaw manual box used in the early Champions?
