Sigh....
Sometimes being a vendor has it's moments...
(The following is true. The names are deleted for obvious reasons)

1) The PCV valve is necessary. You can't hook an AFB vacuum port up directly
to the valley cover fitting.

2) You can't pull the gas pedal up and cut the rod off with bolt cutters and
expect the trans kickdown linkage to work.

3) Disregard #2 if you hook the carb linkage rod up but run the throttle
with an aftermarket cable throttle setup.

4) The vacuum advance must be hooked up to the 'little' fitting on the carb.
(the top little fitting...).

5) Always say thank you when they send you money.

6) Say thank you again when they send your core back with a $250 rebuilt
2bbl carb attached to it.

7) Always answer the phone, even if caller ID says it is a Yankee <lol>

Jeff,

What is my sister, who has lived in California calls, with a San Diego
area code and an accent straight out of the Boston she left in 1972?

What if I, a Pats, Celtics and Red Sox rooter, call, with a California
area code and not a trace of Boston in my voise, but, as some say, a
bit of an English accent?

What is a good-old-boy attending college in Boston, dials you.

How about Paul Johnson, who went to Harvard PG school and lives in a
border state?

How about a retiree from NYC who is a 20 year member of your Chapter?

Who are Yankees?

Hey Carl with a K,
I looked up 'Yankee' in my funk&wagnall and there was a pic of bob40.
I then looked up 'Damn Yankee' and saw Bondo Billy.
Then I looked 'Gawddamn Yankee' and there was a pic of ole Jeff R.
A 'Yankee' is a resident of the northeastern United States.
A 'Damn Yankee' is a 'Yankee' that comes to visit and then goes back north.
A 'Gawddamn Yankee' (as in Jeff's case) is a 'Yankee' that comes down south
and stays.

;-)   ;-)  ;-)   ;-)
