Whoever made that statment is correct in this case:

I hope he is not moving out of the country too soon. I figure it will
take prices to reach that level for that type of car in about 12 years.

No need to ask or respond...I am sure someone booked it out
for him since it is 85% restored. Drive it to Omaha next year and place
first in the appropriate C-K class.

Bob, if I could find out where it is in Yuma, I'd at least send Cindy
over to look at it. Figure out the time line here. The guy says it is
one owner. He says the guy is leaving the country. Hmmmm. Lets say he
was very young in '56, like 20? And he bought this Golden Hawk. The one
owner thing I'd like to hear more about. And the garish gold paint.

Kelm,
I was looking at the pics and in the background is a big box truck with ABC
tire and custom wheels,928-329-1660. Maybe its close to them?

Why bother.  Some of us enjoy the entertainment that such provides.  The
enjoyment gets even better when a dummy comes along and bites it!

Look at the dash. Something not right there. Trunk lid is wrong for the
year too, as it should have a flat spot where the lock is. Front end is
sitting way to high for a GH. I don't know what it is ....wait a minute
with that gold paint job, it IS a golden hawk.

It's kinda, sorta a Golden Hawk.  It has the stainless ban over the roof,
but the hoods off a 57-61 car?  The trims all wrong for a 56, no checks in
the rear?

I don't know, I give up.  But, it sure is fun to watch.

Hell, the '64 Commander I bought at IM Sacramento is one owner.
Here. take a look at the title - the only name you see is mine!

The side chrome reminds me of some of the 55 president, but not as fancy as
that. Being a GH without wings, would be power or flight hawk. But the
quickest way to tell would be to ask for a picture of the motor(packard
motor or not. The body tag numbers or the VIN. Just an observation.

Many 56J's have the wrong hood, it was one year only and is hard to
find.  Later one looks better anyway IMHO.

What is that protrusion on the hood, near the windshield.  It seems to
move from one side to the other when you view it, maybe I need my eyes
checked.

That paint in conjunction with that red interior.....MAN!

That dash looks strangely reminiscent of the Packard Hawk/hardtop
mashup that was in TW a year or so back.  I liked that car then and I
like this car too.  Would like to know how that dash came about.
