The Swedish Studebaker Club Meet was held about
two weeks ago. 33 cars (including a Packard) attended
the meet and I think that's a new club record.
Here are photos of the cars:

Very nice! I'm always surprised to see so many Studebakers in Sweden.
Were most of these imported by collectors, or were they originally
purchased in Sweden?

25 of them were sold new in Sweden. The rest of
them (eight) were imported by collectors. One of them
used to be owned by John Poulos (see below)

64 Daytona Wagonaire green (sold to Norway by John Poulos in 2002)
64 Daytona Wagonaire blue (imported from the USA in 1995)
57 Silver Hawk hardtop (imported from Holland in 2003)
57 Golden Hawk black (imported from the USA in 1999)
57 Golden Hawk gold (imported from the USA in 1984)
52 Commander hardtop (imported from the USA in 2004)

Nice to see the old StudeBob/JP wagon is being enjoyed. If you ever see
a blue mist R2 GT Hawk from the Paris France area, I'd love a pix. I
sold that car to a fellow that worked for the French apace program about
30 years ago.

Did any Studebakers make the Motorhistoria Ystad to Haparanda run?
That looked like a once-in-a-lifetime run for a really old car.

No Studebakers attended,
The trip was for one car only, an old Ford model T.
It was made to recreate the trip made in 1925 by a Ford to
celebrate 30.000 sold Ford Model T:s in Sweden.
