V3131 is the embossed number.
Anyone identify it??
It is in a 55 Speedster.

Jim a P prefix in '55 was a 259 cid engine and I think a V would have been a
232 cid. Unless special ordered in a Speedster, I would doubt that it is the
original engine. The build order from the museum would be the main authority to
answer the question.

All Speedsters should have a "P" code 259. But that number sounds like
a '55 224. (early model year Commander)
