Ever want to take a magazine FROM the doctor's office? Me
neither...except I did like this page!

How the hell did that doctor get a September/October 2005 magazine into his
office... the last time I went to the dentist (6 months ago), I read where
we might have to go to Kuwait to protect them against some guy named Saddam
something or other.

Homeland Security???  What's that?

I've had an idea in my head for a couple years now... wouldn't it be great
if we had some sort of guide to go by on terroristic alerts in this
country... they could use different colors like a stoplight... but with 4-5
levels.

I took a magazine from the doctor's office once. Of course I asked
permission first. It was some golf magazine with a beautiful 58 Packard
Hawk on the cover.(beside some golfer) Had a nice article about the car
too.

Hell, just ask.
In most cases they will say yes. You don't
even have to promise to return it.

Ron,
Funny you should mention magazines,my friend picked up I'd say 6000 old
NG,popular mechanics,popular science,motor trend,etc from a storage auction
this past week.

All neatly stored, sorted by year and month, among them was an old war
rations wallet from  WWII,complete with coupons and stamps.

That and a bunch of old military manuals on electronics, radios, etc

Of course the first issue  of PM I picked up had a '41 Stude on the cover<G>
