Hi everyone,
I have a question....
Thought I remembered that '59 Lark body trim parts will interchange with '63
T-Cab... Did I really remember something real?  Or, did I just have a
hopeful dream? or just imagination??? Or just eat too much pizza???

Anyway, I would like to know if the windshield bright trim and fender belt
stainless trim from a 59 lark would work on a T-Cab???

Don't know for sure... but thought someone here might be able to shine the
light on my present hopeful dream...
Thanks to all,
Mike M.

Pretty sure it will Mike, especially the trim around the windshield.
165972 right 165973 left dont cross reference to the car part #s
(133xxx)but that may have to do with details formed into the trim.
As long as you have a matched set , ya should be good to go.

OK Great... then I am not loseing it as bad as I think I am sometimes...
I am assumeing this means the fender belt trim will work from a 59 lark as
well?
Thanks,
Mike M.

Sure will.  On my '64 T-Cab I used Lark fender and door trim and even cut a
short piece to put behind the door giving me a solid stainless trim line
from front to rear of the cab sides.  I also used '61 Lark Cruiser front
door panels to get plusher panels with pockets.

The answer to your question is yes.  59-60 Lark trim will fit all T-cab
pickups 60-64.

Using the sedan trim will allow you to run stainless from the front fender
to the rear of the door.  In order to complete the package around the cab
corner (for two toning) you will have to fashion the piece  from the rear
moulding of a station wagon.  You could fashion it from the sedan moulding,
but it's real short
around the curve.

The 63-64 T-Cab had an optional stainless moulding to do just this, but I've
never been able to find any of the stuff.  Kinda rare.

I used the doors off a 59 regal deluxe car that I parted out to add a little
more touch to the thing.  These have the stainless trim around the upper
part of the door (around the vent and door windows).  Really sets the thing
off.

Wow... You guys have been absolutely fantastic!!!  I am so very glad to get
all the great info on the trim parts for my T-Cab... I will be dressing her
up soon and this info will really help!

I am beginning to get a vision as to how the truck will dress up really
nice.. Thanks to Transtar60... Mark H. and Paul Johnson!!

Thanks again to all my Stude Buddies... I'll post some pics when I am
finished with all the trim and paint... it will take me a while since I am
doing all my own body work...

I am also putting together a fun car at this time... a '65 2 dr stude with a
Buick High compression 350 in it... it will be fun to drive!
Regards,
Mike M.
