140 Studes and Packards, cars and trucks, showed for the annual Winks
meet. Don Morgan has again done a wonderful job with putting this thing
together. The Ohio region people really pull together to help out.

Most people don't realize that the one day  Winks meet attracts more
Studes then most zone meets.

Lots of interesting stuff. Rebuilt, mild and wild custom, original,
daily drivers, hot rods, wrecks, rust outs, and rare. All kinds, the
beautys and beasts.

At least ten regions were represented at the last meet. The Canadians
are starting to realy show up in force, as are the three Ohio Region
clubs.

There is great food, great entertainment, and goody bags. The ALLEGHENY
REGION CHAPTER hosts an after Winks party, that really showcases the
fellowship of the Studebaker people.

Mulberry Farms and a few other parts vendors always show up and do a
brisk business. Information, email addresses, and telephone #s are
exchanged. Deals are made. New friends are made, and new members are
signed up with the local clubs. It all happens in about 8 hours.

Plus there are other brand cars there too. Lots and lots of customs,
and rods.

12 13 years ago Don Morgan was taking some razzing about being the only
Stude showing up on the weekly friday nite cruise. He told them that he
would bring in more Studes then they ever saw, and he did. If you are
within 300 miles of this meet, please try to make it next year. You
won't be disappointed.
