I did one of the local cruises this afternoon. Of course I had the only
Stude product there and surprise, surprise I got the Best of Show Trophy!
Not bad for the one Stude product out of the 50 cars there.

That's excellent!  Maybe its just me, (and perhaps a few others) attending
meets have been noticing lately the attendees at all-make car meets and
Cruises are finally getting tired of seeing Mustangs, Corvettes, Mopar,
rods, et al.  Case in point, one of our ATHS members attended a show in a
small town not far from here with a nicely restored 1952 Autocar tractor.
Much to his surprises, he won Peoples Choice and was up against some of the
'usual' stuff seen at shows.  I think the pendulum is starting to swing
towards the 'unusual' and not 'the usual' at these events now.  Anyone else
seeing this trend?  Or is it only in my locality?

The HFH won  Best 50's at car show run by The Stamford, Ct. Museum of
history and education. The 50's division had some of the finest examples of
cars produced during that decade. We won anither award earlier this year and
the cars tou were up against wwere no sloutches.

I think the marque is coming into its own,  you see prices getting higher,
more models of them being produced, Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning dointhe,
and the big die cast makers are hoping on the bandwagon.

I know that vack in the 70's and 8-'s ot was fun when nodody knew what you
were driving, now you hear people yell across cars at lights, what year is
that Studebaker?  Is that the Golden Hawk?

We are about to arrive.
