We're being discussed on the SDC forum after someone asked about
Studebakers lost in the flood and they drifted O.T. They were kindly
reffered to us.<g>

It is so nice not to be subject to a SDC nanny here.

   Like I once said, they're a shop manual, we're a comic book.<g>

Kindly?  <G>

Very interesting, insightful thread, indeed.

But, that's just my opinion, it's likely not acceptable.

Only opinions which are Studebaker-related are allowed.
All the rest is fact.

Of course, I guess stock vs modified is classed as an opinion.

That was tongue in cheek, it seems we are still the 'dark side'.
Here's how we were described:

"It’s a place that affords a fella the opportunity to disgorge all of
the off-topic poop that he can come up with, inter-mingled with Stude
content. Lots of drama due to all of the hate/discontent/arguments
generated by some of the off-topic subjects. Be forewarned, acceptable
opinions are very narrowly defined there...."

Quite a glowing description, don't you think. <g>

I LIKE being on the "dark side".

I check out the SDC Forum's fairly often, and it's a great service, but
they just don't have the character of this place.

Kind of like the difference between a good old fashoned parts store and
a Pep Boys <G>.

I used the Studebaker clinic compared to the parking lot after analogy.
