I think NOS are better than the urethane castings which tend to be brittle
and sometimes soften in the summer sun.
In '03, I had several 51 plastic grill bullets, which came from a large
inventory a fellow imported from Beirut, which he sold to me.
I placed them on ebay, & stated that "Quality reproductions are available-
this is for the restorer who knows the difference"
They popped the BIN every time at $85.00

I've sold a couple of NOS sets on eBay and always got over $100. I run
Chuck's repops on my own '54 and love them. I think the repops are
perfect in every way and can't be told from originals (at least with my
old eyes).
