Took me a while to recognize the car.

This is one of a flock I found in Hennessy, OK a few years back.  Milton
wound up buying the flock.  He sold this one to a friend of mine, and I
earned one for finding the flock and hauling a couple to Dallas for Milton.

My friend got pretty far along with this car, but had to sell it due to an
illness.

It was truly a 99% rust free example.

Looks like the seller has left it outside in the rain, considering all of
the surface rust.   But, it will clean right up and make a nice rod.  I was
offered the car by the fellow that bought it from my friend, but it's too
radical for my taste.  I can assure you, what has been done has been done
right.

Nice, eh?

I hope nothing brutal ever happens to 'Sheba, but if the front end gets
cratered, that's probably the way to go.

This car was to be a dragster, so the intention was for it to loose weight.
The orginal parts went to folks restoring original cars, we saw to that.

Oh, you probably meant the suspension, etc.  <G>

My buddy is an engineer, methinks he knew what he was doin'.

I sure hate it that his playing with cars/racing days are over.

I told him I thought so, too.  But, he is the engineer.  <G>
