Has anyone ever tried to swap splines from one steering
wheel to another for a avanti,is it possible to do without
harming the wheel? as I see some welds involved!or am I asking
for the impossible?

Nothing is impossible, but not likly either. You can buy a adapter for a
custom wheel in a Avanti though.
