Well, got the 62 ragtop home from the shop, Bought a "parts car" 65, 4 door
(some one stuffed a Stude 259 in it) Pulled the engine / trans assy, cleaned
it up and painted it.
Lee & Debbie DeLaBarre came down today, The girls jaw jacked all after noon,
Lee and I re installed the 259 engine and trans in the 62, also scavenged a
"few" other needed parts for the 62 ragtop.
Lee (being the 62 expert he is) helped me sort out some parts that I have
and we discovered ones I don't have.
All in all a great weekend, My 62 ragtop now has a drive train back in it,
and the front suspension is all rebuilt. Also got the gas tank cleaned out
and installed. Now I'm at the point where parts are going back on this
thing! If I keep plugging away, by springtime, she'll be ready to drive and
have some fun with!

Thanks Lee

Jim,
Do all '65 & '66 cars have flange rear axles or only some?

This one had a Dana 27 tapered axle in it, otherwise, it would be under the
62
