Had a set of 225 75R 15 Tires put on the 1964 Champ Truck today.  The
tire store said two of the wheels are warped from the inside out. The
explains why it was shaking in the front at 45 mph or greater. Does
anyone know what wheel I can use to replace the stock truck wheel?
Thank you.

Why don't you just buy some NOS ones that are correct, and fit right?

A previous owner of my 64 put Ford rims on the thing.  I had it for a very
short time when driving down the road and the left front came off.
Determined that the rim didn't fit up next to the hub right and wobbled
enough to wallow out the holes.  This caused some of the studs to break and
some of the lug nuts to pull through.

It was one helluva trip, after that!

Pre-1980 Lincoln Town Car wheels fit nicely.

Yeah they will bolt up, BUT do they FIT inside the funny ridge on the
brake drums. Some van wheels will, pickup wheels generally wont with
results as noted by Bo.

Does anyone have NOS Studebaker wheels available?
64daytonaht - 11 Sep 2005 06:47 GMT
Sure do.  I'll work you up a price and shipping if you'll provide physical
delivery address.  You want 4, or 5?
