I have no attended my first official SDC meet and had a great time, met a
lot of great Studebaker nuts and saw some beautiful cars.  The meet was at
Boomtown in Reno Nevada, hosted by the Sagebrush Chapter.  They were
excellent hosts!  We got rained on a couple times, but as far as I know,
none of the cars melted.  I entered my modified '53 Starlight in Division IX
and was flattered to get a first place, a great modified C cab beat me out
for best in Division, and he deserved it.  I took some pictures to share,
you can see them at my Yahoo Photos site.

Good meet, with sprinklings of rain on judging day, requiring many
wipedowns.
Lovely '42 Champ that scored in the high 390's. I hope that soemone
posts a photo of it.
"Shoot-the-schitt" room usually had people there.
The man who was setting up a continuous Studebaker film show had a
stroke just before the meet and that project was dropped. I had my BBC
Avanti video with me, too. It would have been the debut.
Found the "lose the least" method for the poker slots.
Utah next year - they are nice folks, too.
