We just got back from the Sherbrook village car show, had over 300 all
makes,and 4 Studes,My 60 Hawk,a 62 GT from Cape Breton that Ive seen many
times,a 75 Avanti 2 thats a neat car as its mint,has the 400/auto,and air.
But what suprised the heck out of me was I walked around a corner and here
sat a 1960 Hawk painted white with red fins.Never seen it before, but I guess
I did meet the owner before at a show, but since he didn't have the car there
I didn't remember him.
Anyway,I asked him if it was a South Bend car,he said "I don't know, how do
you tell?
I said"Its right on the serial plate on the drivers door jamb."
So we get down and look, and danged if this isn't another Hamilton built 60
Hawk.
So out of the 220 that were built in Hamilton in 1960,here was two of them
at this show.
His was nearly identical to mine, very basic,no power accessorys, and his
wasn't TT like mine.
He just had finished restoring the car,and it was nicer than mine, but he was
running old bias ply wide whites.
Pretty cool!

That's kinda cool! A while back we bought a 62 Lark sedan. We have
another 62 Lark sedan also. The cars were built within 30 cars down the
assembly line from each other. Who would have thought...

I saw the 62 GT coming as I was leaving town, missed you Robert, had to
leave to catch the ferry back to the Island. Robert, do you get the numbers
from the door plate? Now it sounds like we have matching 59 & 60 Hamilton
Hawks in Red/White (well, mirror images, cause the 59 is red with white
fins), and matching 60 & 61 Hamilton Hawks in Black, in the Maritimes.
