I have a two pieces of stainless wheel well moulding for '62 Hawk.
The dents are not too bad, but some  previous owner punched screw holes
through the trailing edges.  Can small holes in stainless steel be
patched in any way?  I would not think so because it is so thin.
When I bought them they were advertised as "solid and very repairable".

They can be welded, but you'll have to find a very good (stainless) welder.
Are these fronts, or backs?  Either case, you probably should have bought
NOS, as your bound to have that much in having these repaired.

Yes, they are repairable.  Out very own "Trim Trader" Lark parker should
be able to amplify somewhat on this subject.

Tony,
We were just discussing you at the local chapter meeting this past
weekend!

Okay, actually we were discussing colors of paint and the Silver Mist
Metallic paint on my old GT Hawk was mentioned, which led the
conversation around to you.   :)

How is the car coming along?  Mike G. was asking about you and whether
I'd heard from you. Don't keep us in suspense...give us an update.

Bob (next meeting is in Nov in Round Rock)
