I thought  that  that I would  share  with  you  some Hawks  that sadly
have  suffred  our  hard  winters  since they came in  in  1987-88 but
never  got the rstoration  that was  planned... One is a  1956   SkyHawk
with  289 + PS  + PB  the  other  1956  Power Hawk  -- both these  ended
up spending  there  lives  over  here  outside and under the  thicj  snow
covers  in  winters...

I  included   few  pics  of  my  355 ( 300 ?hp) Chevy powered Silver Hawk
( originally imported to Finland  in  1957   with 289+ 3 spOD) ( Sold  it
two weeks  ago  to Sweden.... already miss  it  -- it  was  fun  and  fast
daily  driver ... Also  a couple of pics  my "Swiss" 1958   Golden  Hawk
-project.. ( Leather interior + One older driver owner 1958-1980  with LOW
miles ( possibly  just  12.000  miles  but still  got some  rust during the
winters).

For some reason I was  not  able  to load  many  pics  on the  album --
will try  to  load  more  tomorrow... The  1956  SkyHawk  will end  up as
parts  car  as it is  so rusty  that no way  to save  it after  18   years
out  in  our  rough weather... and  being  ex Florida  car...

Have  also  a 1961  Lark convertible finally sailing  from Houston  now
to Finland... will post  some  pics  when  this  "project" is in my
garage....

Pekka, it appears as if this Sky Hawk parts car has a rare item on it.
That would be the correct appearing black steering wheel.  I believe
these were only installed on the Hawks assembled out of the Los Angeles
plant  and that closed before the end of December of 1956.  Of course,
the hood is not correct for a '56.  Also, If the VIN is still
identifiable on the jam, please send it to the Sky Hawk registry that
can be linked on to by way of the '56 Golden Hawk registery online.
