Anybody think $350.00 for an NOS 289 crankshft is to much?  The last one I
saw sell a few years ago sold for $450.00.

Complete used 289 engines are selling for less than $1,000.

I sold one for $850.

$450 is the going rate for one needing rebuilding or "freshening up".

That's about what I get for a take out 289. I do have a 57 Golden Hawk
engine minus all the supercharger stuff I'd like to get a $1000 for, but
it's a recent rebuild, and complete carb to pan and I've ran it on a
engine stand.

Dave, you sold an engine with tranny complete with carb and T-bow
distributor and other goodies.  A good deal!

I paid $250.00 for a 10/10 rebuilt 5 years ago and I shopped around,
so $350.00 for NOS sounds like a great deal to me Bo.
