Jim-
I can't go, I have to stay close to home due to job related issues.
I encourage all to make the Denton meet that can. However, IF you can't
make Denton, there will be a nice car show in Perkins on Sat. Any Stude
folks that find their Denton plans diverted by weather are certainly welcome
to visit Perkins. It would be nice to have more Studes and Stude folks
here! IF things shape up as it appears they will, rain should not be an
issue here until Sunday.
The show will be at the local high school, then the cars will fall in behind
a parade downtown, and the awards ceremony will take place there. Sorry,
it's too late to open a Studebaker class. That is my fault for not passing
the word earlier, because I didn't want to create a conflict with Denton.
The show should be a fun event. I haven't mentioned it before, due to the
Denton conflict, I didn't want to divert Studes away from Denton. However,
if the weather does, here is a nice alternative.

I figured Rita may keep some people away. Due to work I wont be out
there but in the evenings anyhow. In fact Im heading to Oklahoma city
in the morning to pick up an engine for one of my projects.
