In the Hemming Muscle Car it states that Nelson Bove has the only R3
Lark ever to leave the plant.  However I just got my hands on a January
1964 copy of Hot Rod Magazine and it shows an R3 Daytona.  Whats the
deal with that?  Also they show an R4 "Lark", what ever happend to that
car.

Nelson Bove owns the only production car. Others were built as
prototypes, for the salt flats runs and other build as clones later.

What ever became of the prototypes?

There are a few scattered around the country. Many cars lost their
'B' serial engines R3/R4 engines over the years and were parted out. I
think that the one R4 car exists, but not with it's factory engine. It
might be with Nelson, not sure.
