I've searched E-Bay high and low, and I'll be darned if I'll put some Tweedy
Bird or logo steering wheel cover on the stock 2R5 steering wheel.
Where can I find a new, plain black leather lace-on steering wheel cover
that fits a 2R5 steering wheel?
Thanks for any help!!

I had trouble finding one for my '55 because of steering wheel
diameter, go to a truck stop and check them out, IIRC I got mine from a
Flying J, and no tweety bird ones were to be found there!

Dick, just go to a biker type leather shop where they have usually one old
guy who can do just about anything with leather.
My guy has been in the business for about 35 years and
makes,jackets,chaps,saddel bags,you name it.
Im sure he could whittle out a wrap for your wheel in no time.
If it dosen't say "Scooter Skins" on it,it wasn't made by Howard Van Tassel.
And anything he makes is garunteed for life.
Do a Google,he has a nice web site.

I have custom leather steering wheel covers available here,
https://www.studebakerparts.com/studebakerparts/parts/agora.cgi?page=swheelcvr.html
They usually ship next day, just supply measurements.

Just make sure that the cover fits tightly.
I was a passenger in two accidetnt in which a slippng cover was a
factor.
(This was before seatbelts, two. Also a tree was the stopping factor in
each.
Hmmm Same driver, too,
Geez, I sure was dumb, then.
