I seriously doubt it. Paul Teutel, Sr. apparently had a serious drug
issue a while back and would probably smack the crap out of Paul Jr. if
he were showing signs of going down the same road.

Probably a sunglasses promotion deal like damn near all the drivers in
NASCAR have.
If you watch the first episodes and then the latest ones, he has gotten a
little big for his britches. I quit watching it because they've gotten away
from hand building bikes and now just order frames, order parts out of
catalogs, and then CNCing or FlowJetting anything they need to make. All of
which are sent out to the chromer, painter or powder coater. The only
people bending metal anymore are the second string characters. Jr. is
basically getting lazy and repeating himself on their bikes.
I watched it the other night for the first time in months... looks like Jr.
has upgraded from his Dodge Ram to the Prowler to the Hummer 2 to a Mercedes
convertible.
Have you noticed that on EVERY car or bike building show now everyone talks
in that same lecturing style? Trucks is the worst.

I hope Paul SR. would smack the crap out of him! I have also gotten
away from watching ,and cannot stand that lectureing BS. I watched
Unique Whips last night...same tired a.s formula, different location. We
all know nothing goes right on our old car rebuilds, but the shock and
dismay drama gets old.It seems the bigger the builders get, meaning as
the buisness grows from the cash infusion and publicity, the more the
operating procedures and quality of employees goes ito the crapper.
I still enjoy Pimp My Ride, just because its fluffy enough not to take
itself too seriously. And while I guestion some of the body work and
prep issues, its stll fun because they show the vehicle owners going
spazzo when they see the finished product. Instead of standing there all
entitled and attitude because of the cash outlay for the toys and
bling, these people are getting something they can only dream about or
see in a magazine. But realisticly, when PMR put 20s on this girls car on
one of the redos and turned her loose with it, I thought it was a bad
move only because there obviously was no way in hell she could afford to
replace a damaged rim and /or tire. And whoneeds two Playstations in
thier trunk????
But that over the top sh.t really cranks the vehicle owners up!!!!!!

Paul Jr. too had a drug problem at one time. Supposedly he kicked it
and found regligion.
You guys are right, most of thes bike/car build up shows are the same.
Sadly, too, is the fact that they run rerun after rerun. I use to
really like "Over Haulin'" but too many reruns and now the are building
practically new cars (2005 Mustang last show I saw.).
I just hope that when I build my next vehicle I can do it in 10 days
like all of these guys. <g>
