> OSU is trying there best to blow it, they're are not there yet.<g>
Oh, yes they are.
Ya bastid. <G>
I am not surprised, or disappointed, 'cause I really don't care.
Doesn't matter how it comes out, I'm just proud that I'm going to my warm
bed in a little while, and don't have to worry about the football DHs... the
players, the coaches, or the fans!
I learned a long time ago:
"WE WON! DAMN! LET'S GET DRUNK!
or...
"WE LOST! DAMN! LET'S GET DRUNK!"
Winning drunks are much more rowdy, losing drunks are much more... well...
drunk.
Either way, chances are pretty good that someone will die, or become
permanently paralyzed tonight in the Stillwater area, based on the result,
or lack of result of a football game.
Football coaches, fans, and players are morons.
True, I go to watch my grandson play high school football. By my own
standard, that makes me a moron, but it seems innocent enough right now,
it's just high football, after all.
He is innocent enough, and therefore has a right to be a moron... he's just
18... an 18 year old moron that maintains a 4.0 grade average, and is the
leading rusher on his team.
I have a right to be a moron, I'm a PaPa that couldn't hold a 4.0 grade
average with both hands. But, a PaPa that would rather see him pursue the
education made possible by the grade point average, as opposed to a football
scholarship.
I hope and pray that he is not "good enough" for college football.
He hopes and prays otherwise, but he's an 18 year old moron, what does he
know?
I know more, 'cause I'm a 58 year old moron, that's that!
His father is a 40 year old moron, still limping from his highschool
football injuries, that would rather see him get a football scholarship.
I'm so glad you made me tune into a football game tonight, JP. <G>

Drunks are drunks...
They will drink if their team wins, they will drink if they lose.
A drunk will drink when he looses his girlfriend, and will drink when
(if) he finds a new one.
He will drink because his job sucks, he will drink when he looses that
job, he will drink to celebrate getting a new job.
A drunk will drink because the weather is nasty, he will drink because
it's nice.
A drunk will drink as long as he can breath and as long as he can get booze.
A drunk will drink until he dies ... or God intervenes.

Naw, there are a few more 'drunk traits' that cover this:
A drunk believes nobody else notices how much he drinks.
A drunk looks at any other drunk and thinks 'at least I'm not as bad as
him'.
A drunk believes that the BS he spreads to cover the extent of his
drinking fools everybody.
A drunk reads a list like this one and thinks 'those guys have a serious
problem!'

The only label that fits:
http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_6966.shtml
"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public
servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is
warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or
inefficiency in
rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole.
Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty
to tell
the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to
blame
him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other
attitude
in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there
must be
no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President,
right
or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally
treasonable to the
American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one
else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or
unpleasant,
about him than about any one else."

Don't mean to offend anyone, and there is a difference between a real
drunk and guys who just like to drink. Most guys who like to drink do
it because they like to, a real drunk drinks because he HAS to.
