This link will take you to a few of the pix I took on our chapter tour last
Friday through yesterday to North Carolina's Outer Banks.  One is a picture
of Dusty Bob taking our picture.

Paul,

Great pics, thanks for sharing them with us.

Whose '62 Lark Regal convertible? I like that color, do you know if
that is a factory color?

Your Chapter really has some great tours. Would you let some of us NC
folks join the Potomac Chapter?

Thanks.  I'm sure Bob Johnstone will be posting many pix to the Potomac
Chapter website.  See: http://www.potomacsdc.org/
The '62 Lark belong to Larry and Pat Merhaut.  I'm pretty sure the color is
factory.
It would have been nice to have had some locals on all or part of the tour.
I had contacted Joe Roberts some time back about meeting up with NC folks.
Joe couldn't make it, but one man, Clinton Asby, from Washington (NC) tried
to, but again we didn't connect.
This tour was probably too long- scared off some people that normally go.  I
had four cancellations of people planning to go and only three Studebakers
were on it.  Dusty's "Thumper" had a broken clutch and I drove the Bravada
so we could take rides on the beach at Hatteras.  As it turned out, when the
first load started for the Cape Point ramp, the road was under salt water so
we turned back.

BTW- people are always to join us on tours- watch TW for our activities.
