I have tried to contact the hotel to make reservations for the Int'l Meet
being held in Omaha next September.  Each time the system says that all
reservationist are busy and to leave name and number and someone will call
back within the hour.  No calls have been returned.

Is anyone else having problems getting through to the reservation clerks?

Any suggestions?

I saw those $75.  advance purchase rooms on one of the online sites.  If you
book one of those and then can't attend you still have to pay for every
night you booked.  And you had to guarantee with a credit card. Only because
things change did I not want to commit to that online rate.

I finally got a real live person.

If anyone else tries do NOT push 2 for the reservation desk.  At the end of
the messages it gives you an option to press 0 for the switchboard and then
I told them I needed the reservation area.  That is how I got a real live
person to answer.    We now have our reservations.  YEAH!!! Only 10 1/2
months to wait!
