Hi all,

I went to the Big Auto Swapmeet in San Diego and was Driving my car in
and a Guy stopped me, he sounded in such a desperate mode(it was sad).
He had wrecked his
hawk and needed parts to fix it and asked me if I knew anyone in the
area that had
a parts car for sale.  Said he had found one in washington but it'd
cost him $1200 to
get it here.  I said I'd ask around.
Another guy stopped me and said he had the orig sales slips/reciept for
his Grandmothers
SilverHawk.  Said he didnt have it in him to just toss it out.  He'd
like to give it to whoever
has it now, kinda history on the car.  He's going to email me the info
next week.  Wouldnt it be kewl to know exactly where your car came from
ect.  I dont on any of mine.

Now on a note I think I'm going to buy me a 89 Avanti  Red Conv.  gosh
what a beaut!
I'm going to call my insurance co tomorrow and then my Credit union.
Dont shoot me but this will be my every day driver.  My husband said he
wanted me to have
it, couldnt get over how good I looked in it and talked about it all
the way home from
San Diego. YES!  Now my family(people)are big!  Heathers 5'9 at 16 and
Sam's 5'10 and
Andrew's overweight...what a way to get away without them(grin).  Top
down...
Ok, now I'm really ready to get rid of the Wagon.  One must drive some
sort of Studebaker..

Kelly Marion has a complete rust free 1958 Silver Hawk in Tucson that
he was planning on throwing on EBAY next week. His email address is:
Kelmbaker@msn.com.

Have your  guy contact him or email me at rmc61coupe@aol.com and I can
give him Kelly's number.

Go for it, why NOT drive an 89 Avanti as a daily driver, especially in
southern California!
