Ladies and Gentlemen,
As a result of knowing about a blueprint showing some information about wire
sets for the '56, I will be happy to offer them for sale.  The catch is that
I do not do retail sales, so these can and will be available through any
Studebaker parts vendor.  Those that I currently deal with are (in no
particular order) Fairborn Studebaker, John Poulos and Ray Fichthorn.  If
your favorite dealer would like to contact me, not a problem.  We would love
to deal with them.  We also offer reproduction 6 cylinder and V8 sets.

For those that do not know me, I make racing engine ignition wire sets for a
living.  They have been on championship boats, cars and trucks here in the
states.  Products have been seen at Daytona, LeMans, and Bonneville as well
as all kinds of racetracks throughout the country.  Whether you are Jack
Roush or Johnny Jones, I have one quality.  I put the same thought into
doing the repro wire sets.  My grandfather worked all his life at
Studebaker, and this is a way of paying honor to all his labor, by helping
to keep those cars on the road.

And they are first class wire sets, made from the best materials....and they
fit right...the first time.
Nuff said!

The way I look at it, we're getting plug wires that meet NASCAR specs and
used by several professional race teams... so it ain't talking about a box
of cheap PepBoy wires.

Ditto here.

My truck and '55 Prez have 'em and they fit/work great.

Brian,

I was talking to Ray and he said that you might have some of the tarred
cloth wire loom for the heater blower wire, send me an email if you
have.  Also need a coil wire for my '55 (long story - used it on
something else to get it running and now it's gone)

thanks,

nate

I have it Nate... I just didn't have it with me... I "thought" I got it
at Brians... but wasn't sure...
How much do you want?

Just enough for the heater blower, so probably 4 feet would be more
than enough.  The one I found had the wire cut for some reason so I
didn't have the sleeve and had to solder a new wire onto it.  (the one
on the 6V motor that I took out was fried to the texture and
consistency of dry bacon, probably due a combination of running it on
12V and not having a fuse or circuit breaker protecting that wire.)
