This might be old news, but here goes. I'm not a toy collector at all,
but if a Stude one appears in front of me, it usually gets my
attention. I was at WallyWorld yesterday and saw a Hot Wheels (# 2005
043). It is in the Torpedoes series. It is a bulletnose, and indeed,
that is what it is called. Very custom, but very recognizeable. Well
worth the $.97!

Yes, that came out last year. Keep an eye out in the Johnny Lighning pegs,
as they've had a few nicely-done Hawks recently. Still waiting for that
1:64 Avanti which NOBODY has done yet. I'm sure they will, as they're
running out of "fresh wheels" to put out there. A nice '63 would be
SWEEEEEEEEET!

At the museum, we have a properly-scaled model of the display floor.
It was made for trial arranging of displays, using model cars.
Unfortiunatly, not all models of cars come in the scale, so it hasn't
been used in the six years I've there and is just taking up space and
holding a mixture of model cars, ready to fall apart when lifted!
The head librarian throws nothing away!

Be on the look out for a new Johnny Lighting 1/64th scale Avanti. It
should be availible in May or June. Toys-R-Us will have two different
colors availible only at TRU. There should be other colors availible at
other sources also. JL have been harder to find lately and
distribution has been spotty. I'm sure they will be on eBay.

Yes!!!! Finally!!!!!! Knew it was only a matter of time! I WILL be
grabbing extras of THOSE!!!!
Also forgot to mention that Muscle Machines recently released a cool looking
1953 in a few colors (I have red/white) with the big engine and blower.
Very cool! And I'm still looking to grab that 1:43 Matchbox Funny Car - a
1954, I believe.
