I'm putting a 70 Avanti II drive line in a 62 Daytona and I have one
question in regard to wiring.  Is the trans kick down switch that is on the
throttle bellcrank wired with a switched +12 on one side and the the other
side runs directly to the trans or is a relay used?

I forgot to mention that the trans is a powershift with vacuum modulator and
electric kickdown.

The tag on the side of the trans is green and reads as follows: "Warner Gear
Div., AS2  12D    10100
Built for Avanti Motor Corp.   Their # 1700390".
It has a vacuum modulator and electric kick down.  No throttle pressure rod.

You learn something new every day, but then again, I never pulled a
Avanti II drive line. <g>
