Hey Gang,

After a lot of hard thought I have decided to go with a traditional
front suspension on my CE.  With that in mind, does anyone know where I
can find a leaf spring front suspension with the beam axle in the
Minnnesota/Wisconsin area?  I'm looking for the whole works including
ALL of the steering components.  Of course being into Studes, I would
like it to be reasonably priced, or better yet free.:o)

Thanks in advance for any help that may be offered,

Thor

You might give Mike Kluth a call in Mishawaka, Wi.
He has a couple of Dictators...
Jeff
PS: I have some great raw bumpers if you are interested.

I'll cruise over to a yard by me and see if any of the Studes there have
that set-up and pull them if they do.

I can get a nice '39 Comm. front suspension delivered to SB. What you got to
trade?

Gentlemen,

Thank you for your responses.  I apologize for not responding sooner.
I posted last night and then got involved with a certain honey-do list
and never got back to the computer.

Jeff - I touched base with Mike a few months ago and we exchanged an
email. Then I emailed him a second time and never heard from him again.
I don't know if I scared him off or what.  Our conversation up to that
point had been pleasant, and then poof!...nothing.  I will try to hook
up with him again tonight.  I'm doing okay on bumpers but in our
conversation a week or two ago you mentioned some tail lights and other
small parts.  I would be interested in hearing details on these items.

Bob - I will try to drop you an email tonight regarding the cars you're
talking about.

Barry - Bob is pretty close so I'll see if he can hook me up first.  If
I run into a dead end I'll drop you a line.  Is the front end from a
'39 the same as on the '37?  I really want the suspension to be as
"bolt in and go" as possible.

Toodles,

Thor

Keep trying to contact Mike.
He works strange shifts sometimes, so his internet access and phone access
is hit and miss.
He's a decent guy, so you can work with him.
Jeff
