On the front spear holder on a 62 GT Hawk, how to remove without damage? Her
plastic is broke and I need to replace it. Do I gently pry up or do I need a
special tool? Thanks

There is a nut under the inside of fender at the top where the spear is
located that just needs to be unscrew.

Thanks, glad I didn't just try prying it up.

There was also a plastic piece to replace the "fin." This the plastic
(clear) was just aboiut flush with the top of the chrome piece. I
assume that they were for export cars where the safetyt issue was
stronger than the US.
They might be cool, if you could find some. p/n in book, IIRC
