I was just watching CNN's coverage of a protest yesterday in Beirut, and right in the middle of the throng was a guy wearing a t-shirt with the red-white and blue Stude S on it Amazing I don't want to disillusion you...but that was probably a Pepsi logo t-shirt. Let's hope none of us Stude fanatics have gone that far!! Seems to me, a fair number of Studebaker and Packards were sold in Lebanon in the 1950's. In particular, one of the 'special order' '58 Packards was shipped to Lebanon according to Fred K. Fox's article on them. There could still be some Studebaker cars and trucks in that country, hopefully parked away from the war zone.
